I-70 Barrier & Median Improvements in Genesee, Morrison & Denver

Location: 3 sites on I-70:
- Site 1: I-70 between the Lookout Mountain and Chief Hosa interchanges (mile points 252.7 to 255.3)
- Site 2: I-70 between the Morrison Road and C-470 interchanges (mile points 258.5 to 259.8)
- Site 3: West the of I-70/I-270 interchange, and the east side of Quebec Street overpass (mile points 4.4 to 5.1)
From November 2018 through April 2019, crews on this project will improve three sections of I-70 in Jefferson and Denver counties by replacing and installing median barrier, bringing the median safety measures up to current standards.
Work will be done at the following locations:
- Site 1: I-70 between the Lookout Mountain and Chief Hosa interchanges (mile points 252.7 to 255.3)
- Site 2: I-70 between the Morrison Road and C-470 interchanges (mile points 258.5 to 259.8)
- Site 3: West the of I-70/I-270 interchange, and the east side of Quebec Street overpass (mile points 4.4 to 5.1)
Schedule & Travel Impacts
- Expect single-lane closures and shoulder closures.
- Expect trucks and equipment entering and exiting the work zone.
- Work is scheduled to run from November 2018 through April 2019.
