Essential Culvert Repairs in Metro Denver

About the Project

This state funded project is designed to repair and restore several damaged culverts to optimum structural integrity for improved drainage and erosion control. Four minor drainage culverts are located in Jefferson, Clear Creek and Boulder counties. A fifth culvert located adjacent to I-25 in Douglas County will also be upgraded with new wing walls and a headwall. Crews will employ proprietary spray lining methods to protect pipelines from corrosion, restore structural integrity, reduce infiltration, eliminate leaking joints, improve water quality, and increase pipeline flow capacity.

The culverts are located in Douglas, Clear Creek, Jefferson and Boulder counties at the following locations:

  • Interstate 25 at Mile Point 191.1 – Douglas County
  • US Highway 6 at Mile Point 277.8 – Jefferson County
  • Interstate 70 at Mile Point 240.12 – Clear Creek County
  • Colorado Highway 121 at Mile Point 4.27 – Jefferson County
  • Colorado Highway 128 at Mile Point 0.25 – Boulder County
