I-70 over 32nd Ave Bridge Replacement

Traffic Impacts - Week of Aug. 27 to Sept. 2

• A traffic shift on eastbound I-70 within the project limits will be implemented during overnight hours on Aug. 30 to restore traffic lanes to their original alignment
• Work during the implementation of the shift includes setting temporary barrier, restriping the lanes, and realigning traffic 
• Motorists can expect double lane closures and short delays on eastbound I-70 during the shift
• These closures and delays will be in place between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m.
• The scheduled date of Aug. 30 is weather dependent, with a backup date of Aug. 31
• Once the overnight shift is implemented, traffic will be in its final configuration
• Three lanes of traffic will be maintained in each direction of I-70 through the work zone
• No impacts to westbound I-70 or 32nd Ave. under I-70 are expected during the shift

• Single right lane closures may exist on eastbound I-70 during overnight hours, as needed
• The closures will be in place from approx. 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Sunday to Tuesday
• These closures are weather and work dependent and subject to change

• Intermittent single lane closures will exist during daytime hours in both directions of 32^nd Ave under I-70 
• The closures will be in place from approx. 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Thursday, and 8 a.m. to noon on Friday, Sept. 1
• Occasional overnight lane closures may be taken in both directions of 32nd Ave from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., as needed
• Single right lane closures may also exist on southbound Youngfield St through the work zone, as needed
• Sidewalk access is limited
• All schedules are weather and supply dependent and subject to change

• A full overnight closure of Ward Rd/CO 72 will be in place from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. on Aug. 30 for a bridge deck pour
• A detour route will exist (W. 44th Ave to Youngfield to Clear Creek Pkwy)
• The westbound I-70 ramps will remain open during the deck pour
• Single overnight lane closures in both directions of I-70 will exist during overnight hours on Aug 30 from 10 p.m. to 6 am.
• Various daytime lane closures will be taken in both directions of Ward Road/CO 72 under the I-70 bridges Monday to Friday
• Some overnight lane closures will exist during the week of Aug. 27 to Sept. 2 for the overnight bridge deck pour
• Overnight lane closures will be in place on I-70 within the project limits
• The daily closures will exist from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and overnight from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.
• All construction schedules are weather and supply dependent and subject to change
