Ongoing Traffic Impacts

The Mesa County ADA Ramps Phase III Project will be conducted in Fruita on US 50 and Pine Street, on the I-70 Frontage Road and the Rest Area, on CO 340 from the I-70 Ramp to Raptar Road, and on Aspen Avenue from Cherry Street to Willow Street.

Monday, Feb. 1 to Wednesday, Feb.3 work will consist of:

  • Southbound right turn lane closure on Pine St. onto Westbound US 50
  • All intersections will maintain public access
  • Expect sidewalk closures at the Rest Area
  • Expect intermittent flagging during construction
  • All work is tentatively scheduled based on weather conditions

About the Project

The project will bring existing curb ramps into compliance with Public Rights of Way Accessibility Guidelines, or PROWAG.** by replace existing sidewalk curb ramps located at three intersections along CO 330 (High Street).
