Northeast Colorado Traffic Signal Upgrades

  • Location: 71 separate locations across Kit Carson, Larimer, Lincoln, Logan, Morgan, Phillips, Weld and Yuma counties
  • Timeline: July - December 2018

Crews on this project will install the following traffic-control devices at 71 different locations across Kit Carson, Larimer, Lincoln, Logan, Morgan, Phillips, Weld and Yuma counties in Northeast Colorado:

  • traffic signal controllers and controller cabinets;
  • preformed controller cabinet foundations;
  • conduit;
  • pull boxes;
  • ethernet switches;
  • power supplies;
  • service-meter cabinets; and
  • ancillary items.

Crews also will complete minor grading and concrete work at some of the locations.


Travel Impacts

  • Work may take several days to complete at some locations.
  • Traffic impacts are expected to be minimal at most locations.
  • Temporary traffic control measures (all-way stops, uniformed traffic control officers or flaggers) may be in use during signal outages.
