CO 62 Ramp Up Ridgway

The CO 62 Ramp Up Ridgway Project—the first major downtown investment since the town's inception in 1890—is nearing completion. The project—a partnership among CDOT, the Colorado Department of Labor Affairs and the Town of Ridgway—has improved Colorado Highway 62 and drainage in downtown Ridgway.

Work started on March 21, 2016, followed by a winter shutdown from November 2016 – March 2017. Final work will be completed in October 2017.

Public Information

ACC has designated an on-site public information manager to provide the town and its visitors with current and accurate information about the project, and the plan for maintaining traffic. Similarly the public information manager will work with businesses and the Town to understand their constraints to minimize the impacts of construction, and assure visitors have ready access to all the things that make Ridgway a great place to visit.
