US 24 Resurfacing East of Simla
From May 1, 2017, to July 25, 2017, crews repaved a two-mile stretch of US Highway (US) 24 (from mile point (MP) 364.6 to MP 356.7), east of Simla.
A second associated project—on US 24 at the Elbert/El Paso County Line (from MP 356.7 to MP 350.58)—was completed from July 10, 2017, to Oct. 5, 2017.
Crews also restriped, and installed new signs and a shoulder embankment.
