US 285 Bridge Repairs in Jefferson County

On March 25, 2019, crews began repairing four bridges on US Highway 285 from mile point (MP) 235 to MP 239. Other work includes repairs to bridge decks, drainage and medians.

This work will extend the lifespan of each bridge and the drainage structures.

The four bridges are located at:

  • South Turkey Creek Road and US 285;
  • Conifer Road and US 285;
  • Pleasant Park Road and US 285 (includes removing and replacing portions of the wall); and
  • Kennedy Gulch Road and US 285.

Traffic Impacts

Expect single-lane closures Mondays through Fridays at the following:

March-May

  • Southbound US 285: 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Northbound US 285: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

June-July

  • Southbound US 285: 6 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Northbound US 285: 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Expect speed-limit reductions and slight delays.
