Project work includes:

  • asphalt paving (beginning Sept. 25, weather permitting);
  • curb and gutter installation; and
  • modifying signage and striping.

  • Normal work hours are from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.; no weekend work is scheduled.

Traffic/Community Impacts

  • The public will retain access to local businesses during construction.
  • Expect alternating one-lane traffic Sept. 5 through Oct. 6. There will be one through lane on US 287 in each direction.
  • Speed limits will be reduced to 40 mph; fines will be doubled.
