Flashing Yellow Arrows

CDOT installed Flashing Yellow Arrows (FYA) for left turns along the US 160/550 corridor through Durango in 2011, prior to our Continuous Flow Intersection project. FYAs--along with new summer and winter signal timing plans and the CFI--have eased congestion and decreased accidents overall through the city, from SH 172 east of Durango to Animas View Drive, the last signal at the north edge of town.
