About the Project
This project consists of improvements to a shared use pedestrian trail along US 40 south of Granby. Improvements to the project will include stormwater management and erosion control, trail construction, surfacing, signage, and guardrail placement.
Project Benefits
- The new trail will provide close-to-home, accessible recreation opportunities within the community and allow those who may otherwise have limited opportunities to access natural areas.
Work Schedule:
- Starting May 13 work hours range from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Traffic Impacts:
Motorists can expect the following impacts during the period of construction:
- Traffic will encounter shoulder closures on the west side of US 40 throughout the duration of the project.
Parking will not be permitted around work sites during the work day. - There may be a need for temporary driveway and road closures in the work zone as equipment or materials move in and out of the site. Access to properties’ driveways will generally be available at all times, any restrictions will be noticed to the owner a minimum of 24 hours prior to the restriction.
