About the Project
The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) and contractor Western Gravel Constructors will begin an ADA ramp enhancement in Boulder CO. on January 6, 2020. The project will take place at 56 different locations on Colorado Highway 119, CO 7, CO 93, CO 157 and US Highway 36.
Enhancements for the $1.1 million project include:
- Installing 97 ADA compliant ramps, to existing ramps and to areas that currently do not have existing ramps,
- to bring ramps into compliance with the Public Right of Way Accessibility Guidelines (PROWAG) requirements.
- Work will consist of improvements to curb ramps, curb, gutter, and sidewalk.
