CO 52 Main Street in Hudson

The Colorado Department of Transportation on Sept. 2 will begin work from Hudson Drive to Ash Street in Hudson to replace the sidewalks and install pipes, fencing and traffic control signaling.

Project work begins at the south side of State Highway 52 on Hudson Drive and extends to Ash Street in Hudson. All work on the project will be completed by Oct. 31. Technology Constructors Inc. of Arvada will perform as prime contractor on this $171,600 project.

Traffic Impacts

Travelers should expect a shoulder closure during sidewalk improvements. Parking will not be accessible in the lot on the southeast corner of SH 52 and Hudson Drive. Construction work hours will run from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Friday. No night or weekend work is scheduled. Speeds will be reduced to 15 mph during working hours, and there will be no width restrictions regarding vehicle size.

Motorists need to be aware of possible traffic stops along the roadway.
