Project Overview
From Monday, April 24, 2017, to Thursday, Oct. 19, 2017, crews made improvements to Colorado Highway (CO) 9 and US Highway 6, near I-70 in Dillon.
Project work included:
- Roadway repaving
- Installing ADA-compliant ramps
- Installing sidewalks
- Traffic loops
- Drainage improvements
Phased Work
Phase 1 Work:
- Removing and replacing curbs and gutters along CO 9
Phase 2 Work:
- Excavations, followed by drainage improvements and paving operations
Phase 3 Work:
- Milling and overlay operations, allowing the asphalt to line up with the new concrete improvements
