CO 2 & CO 95 Safety Improvements

Work this Week

Daytime Working Hours: Monday-Thursday, 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., Friday 8:30 a.m. – 2 p.m.

  • Crews will be working along Colorado Boulevard in Denver at the intersections of Colorado Blvd and Arizona Avenue, and Colorado Blvd. and Kentucky Avenue to install raised medians. These raised medians will be installed in an effort to increase safety while maintaining accessibility in these areas. The raised median at Colorado Blvd. and Kentucky Avenue will only be on the south side of the intersection. Left hand turns onto westbound Kentucky Avenue from northbound Colorado Blvd. will be prohibited after the installation of the raised median. Left turns onto eastbound Kentucky Avenue from southbound Colorado Blvd. will still be allowed.
  • Traffic impacts include various single lane closures within the work zones while crews continue work installing a raised median at these intersections.
  • Sidewalks may be temporarily closed during construction. Pedestrian detours will be in place.
  • Please drive safely through the work area when crews are present.
