CO 66 and Weld County Road 21 Intersection Improvements

There are three CDOT projects on CO 66 between Mead and Platteville this construction season. Project teams are coordinating schedules and traffic control. Drivers are encouraged to take alternate routes, use extra caution in the work zones, and follow all signs and markings.
More information on the other two projects is available below:

About the Project:

The Colorado Department of Transportation will make safety improvements at Colorado Highway 66 and County Road 21. This project will improve the intersection by adding left turn lanes to all intersection approaches, and the intersection will be resurfaced with asphalt pavement. Work includes reconstructing drainage and irrigation systems. CR 21 stop signs will be upgraded to flashing light displays for improved visibility.
