I-25 and CO 115 Ramp Resurfacing

Work this Week

week of August 1, 2021

For the week of August 1, work is expected at the following interchanges:

  • I-25 at Interquest Parkway (MM 153) Sunday - Thursday: Various ramps closed nightly from 8 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. for finishing work after asphalt paving
  • I-25 at Briargate Parkway (MM 151) Sunday - Thursday: Various ramps closed nightly from 8 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. for finishing work after asphalt paving
  • I-25 at North Academy Boulevard (MM 150) - No lane closure planned.
  • CO 115 at NORAD Road (MM 43) Sunday - Thursday: Various ramps closed nightly from 8 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. for finishing work after asphalt paving.
  • Signed detour routes will be provided.
  • All ramps will be open during the day.

Construction activities are weather-dependent and the schedule is subject to change.

About the Project:

This project will resurface interchange ramps in the Colorado Springs area, upgrade guardrail systems and place new pavement markings. Several locations will receive new asphalt curb, slope and ditch paving.

With anticipated completion in August, this project will improve safety with smoother highway transitions and new guardrail.

  • I-25 and CO 115 (Interquest Parkway (MM 153)

  • I-25 at N. Academy Boulevard (MM 150)
  • CO 115 at NORAD Road/O-Connell Blvd (MM 43)

Traffic Impacts

  • Expect intermittent, nightly lane and ramp closures.
    Signed detour routes will be provided.
  • Some noise is expected overnight from construction equipment and asphalt milling operations.
  • All ramps will be open during the day.
  • Construction activities are weather-dependent and the schedule is subject to change. The latest lane closure information will be available at www.COtrip.org.
