  • This week, the contractor will perform survey work, place temporary erosion control measures, and install construction signs during the day from the shoulder or adjacent to the highway.
  • Ramp closures will start the week of May 23 at Exit 43 A/B: NORAD Road /O’Connell Blvd. More information to follow regarding the ramp closure schedule.

About the Project:

This project will resurface interchange ramps in the Colorado Springs area, upgrade guardrail systems and place new pavement markings. Several locations will receive new asphalt curb, slope and ditch paving.

With anticipated completion in August, this project will improve safety with smoother highway transitions and new guardrail.

  • I-25 at Briargate Parkway (MM 151)
  • I-25 at N. Academy Boulevard (MM 150)
  • CO 115 at NORAD Road/O-Connell Blvd (MM 43)

Traffic Impacts

  • During the week of May 16, the contractor will perform survey work, place temporary erosion control measures, and install construction signs.
  • Ramp closures will start the week of May 23 at Exit 43 A/B: NORAD Road /O’Connell Blvd. More information to follow regarding the ramp closure schedule.
