I-25 and CO-7: Interim Transit Improvements

About the Project

The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) is working to complete the design for the interim mobility hub on I-25 and SH-7 located in Adams and Broomfield Counties. The interim transit improvements project will consist of constructing Bustang bus route slip ramps for both northbound off-ramp and southbound on-ramp, pedestrian bridge connecting the two bus slip ramps, sidewalks, and a park-n-ride lot in the southeast corner of the interchange.

This project is located on I-25 and SH-7, between milepost 228.5 and milepost 229.5 in Adams and Broomfield County.

Schedule & Important Dates

  • Project Schedule for Design
    Fall of 2022 to late summer of 2024 to early fall of 2024

  • Project Schedule for Construction:
    Late February 2024

  • This project will provide parking for people who would connect to the CDOT Division of Transit and Rails Express Bus from Fort Collins to Denver and the reverse ride northbound to Fort Collins as well as provide increased access to multimodal transit options.
