I-25 Interchange Curb Ramps in Denver County

Work this Week

March 2022

  • Phase II is coming to a close. Work is anticipated to go through mid-March.
  • Fox Ave will see the completion of removal and replacement of curb ramps. Other areas of the project will see final striping and finalizing electrical work. Phase III is anticipated to start in April.
  • About the Project:

Seventeen locations have/will see curb ramp improvements within this project scope:

  • Belleview (completed),
  • Hampden (completed),
  • Yale (completed),
  • Evans (completed),
  • University (completed),
  • Downing (completed),
  • Emerson (completed),
  • Ogden (completed),
  • Washington (completed),
  • Clarkson (completed),
  • Cedar Ave (completed),
  • 8th Ave (completed),
  • 16th St.  (completed),
  • 20th St. (completed),
  • Park Ave West, (completed)
  • 38th Ave (completed) and Fox.

Work is expected to go through mid-March of 2022 and is part of a larger commitment by CDOT to provide better accessible to multi-modal travelers.

Work Schedule

  • Each location will take approximately two weeks.

Traffic Impacts

  • Monday through Friday work hours will be from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Construction zones are on the interchange streets only (not I-25).
  • Travelers can expect alternating lane closures, and turn lane closures. Some nightwork and full closures are anticipated.
