I-25 Dry Creek Ramp Improvements

Work this week will take place Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

  • There will be single lane closures on Dry Creek Road in both directions. Eastbound lanes will be closed from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. and westbound lanes will be closed from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • There will be intermittent shoulder closures on the southbound I-25 on-ram
  •  Motorists should slow down as they approach the work zones, drive with caution, allow extra space between vehicles and give themselves extra travel time.

About the Project:

This project will focus on improving the southbound I-25 on-ramp from East Dry Creek Road in Centennial. The scope of work will include roadway widening, replacing traffic signals, installing ramp metering, extending medians and turn lanes and upgrading pedestrian ramps to ADA standards. The work on this project aims to enhance the functionality of the intersection and ease the flow of traffic onto southbound I-25. 


Work Schedule:

  • Crews will be working daytime hours, Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Traffic Impacts:

  • Single alternating lane closures on east and westbound lanes of Dry Creek Rd.

  • Intermittent shoulder and single lane closures on the southbound I-25 on-ramp.

  • Work is anticipated to begin on September 26th, and be completed by December, 2022.
