Greenland Road Interchange Work

Overnight Closure of the Greenland Underpass and Southbound I-25 Off-Ramp to Greenland Road

Overnight on Tuesday, Sept. 22, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., crews will require closures at the Greenland Road Interchange (exit 167) to set bridge beams. For safety, the Greenland Road underpass and the southbound I-25 off-ramp to Greenland Road will be closed.

To access West Greenland Road from southbound I-25, use CO 105 by exiting at Spruce Mountain Road (exit 173). To access West Greenland Road from northbound I-25, use CO 105 by exiting at County Line Road (exit 167) or Upper Lake Gulch Road (exit 172). To access East Greenland Road, use the northbound I-25 off-ramp to Greenland Road.

Work Underway on Second Half of Bridge

In late June 2020, the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) and contractor partner, Kraemer North America, completed a major traffic switch on I-25 at Greenland Road. With half of the new interchange construction complete, motorists have been shifted to new pavement so crews can build the west side of the Greenland Road interchange. Final completion of the Greenland Road interchange will result in a wildlife underpass and a new two-lane underpass from the current single-lane box culvert.

Daytime flagging of the Greenland Road underpass will continue from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays.
