Northeastern Colorado Culvert Repairs
About the Project
Crews will begin work at Colorado Highway 14 near the I-25 interchange at Mile Point 138.75, just east of Fort Collins. Work will then move on to other multiple locations throughout the region. The additional culvert locations include:
- CO 113 at MP 16.4 north of Peetz
- CO 113 at MP 5.4 about five miles north of the US 138 junction
- CO 14 at MP 138.75, MP 138.66 and MP 138 on Mulberry Street between East Dawn Avenue and I-25
- CO 14 at MP 152.32 just west of US 85 in Ault
- CO 392 at MP 123.52 near Weld County Road 55
- CO 52 at MP 60.8 north of Hoyt
- US 34 at MP 67.92 about five miles east of Estes Park
- US 36 at MP 26.66 near Nelson Road and north of Altona
- CO 71 at MP 184.5 north of Snyder
- US 24 at MP 372.46 near Limon
The work will include the installation of culvert linings, culvert replacements and other drainage repairs.

Project Benefits
- The culvert rehabilitation treatment will extend the lifespan and regain the integrity of the structures receiving the repairs.
- The trenchless rehabilitation methods being used will significantly shorten the time frames for traffic control needs and duration.
Work Schedule
- Work will last approximately two months
- Daytime work hours range from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with possible nighttime work hours
Traffic Impacts
Motorists can expect the following impacts throughout the duration of the project:
- Vehicles will be reduced to a single lane
- Intermittent alternating traffic in either direction
- Lane closures guided by flaggers and pilot cars
- Delays up to 15 minutes
