Corridors

US 24 (West)

United States Highway 24 provides route access across the Rocky Mountains. US 24 is a vital economic corridor connecting front range communities to western slope communities, and is one of only three major east/west alternatives in Colorado.

Crews will be replacing five structures on US 24 east of Florissant and Antero Junction. Construction on these structures will take place in the warmer months (construction during core winter may be halted). Multiple structures may be under construction at a time.

CO 9 is a major north/south corridor through the central part of Colorado and is an alternate evacuation route for floods and fires.
