Working hours: 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Monday-Friday

June 1-5

  • Crews will work on Lincoln Avenue, between 5th and 7th streets. During operations, the intersections will be operated with use of stop signs.
  • Motorists can expect lane closures and temporary traffic  stops of up to 5 minutes when crews remove the mast arms.

Monday (June 1)

  • Work on Lincoln Avenue and 5th Street

Tuesday (June 2)

  • Work on Lincoln Avenue and 6th Street

Wednesday (June 3)

  • Work on Lincoln Avenue and 7th Street

Thursday and Friday (June 4-5)

  • Work on Lincoln Avenue from 5th to 7th streets

May 26-29

  • Crews will work on Cleveland Avenue and Lincoln Avenue. During work, traffic stops will be in place to assist traffic at the intersection.
  • Motorists can expect lane closures and delays of up to 5 minutes when crews remove the mast arms.

Tuesday and Wednesday (May 26-27)

  • Work on Cleveland Avenue starting at 7th Street and moving towards 5th Street.

Wednesday and Thursday (May 27-28)

  • Starting at noon on Tuesday, work on Lincoln Avenue between 7th and 5th streets.

Friday (May 29)

  • Work on Lincoln Avenue between 7th and 5th streets, with a single-lane closure in place

  • Location: Cleveland Ave (US 287) at 5th, 6th, and 7th Streets. Lincoln Ave (US 287) at 5th, 6th, and 7th Streets in downtown Loveland

In March 2020 crews will begin a signal improvement project on northbound and southbound US 287 in downtown Loveland.  This $1,6 million project consists of replacing traffic signals at six intersections in downtown Loveland.

The impacted intersections are:

  • 5th St and Lincoln Ave (US 287)
  • 6th St and Lincoln Ave (US 287)
  • 7th St and Lincoln Ave (US 287)
  • 5th St and Cleveland Ave (US 287)
  • 6th St and Cleveland Ave (US 287)
  • 7th St and Cleveland Ave (US 287)


The work consists of:

  • removing traffic signals and installing new ones
  • work on curb and gutter
  • pavement patching at these intersections

Proposed Work Schedule

  • Monday - Friday 
  • Hours: 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Traffic Impacts

Operations may cause traffic impacts, including:

  • Reduced speed limits
  • Lane closures
