US 6 & US 24 Improvements in Minturn

Project Update
December  2019

As I'm sure you can see, ACC has knocked out the major work items associated with the US 24 at Minturn Roadway Improvements project but the weather is not going to let us get it 100% buttoned up this season. For this we are truly sorry. I know the town was looking forward to getting the work done in 2019 but the labor shortage has really plagued the Colorado Construction market and this project in particular.

ACC and our key subcontractor will be performing signage work on Saturday. The rest of our focus next week will be buttoning up the site and starting to demobilize for the year. All construction work will cease on December 11, 2019 and we should be completely out of town by the 20th.

The items that will be completed in 2020 include marking the crosswalks, installing pedestrian railing, finishing up topsoil, revegetation and punch list items. This work should take less than one month and will start June 8th. If you have any concerns throughout the winter do not hesitate to contact our office at the contact information listed below. Thank you for your support and have a wonderful holiday and ski season.
