US 285 Englewood Traffic Signal Upgrades

About the Project:

This project consists of signal system and communication upgrades along US Highway 285 between US 85 and CO 177. The project consists of furnishing and installing traffic signal controller cabinets, traffic signal controllers, conflict monitors, ups, cctv cameras, vehicle detection devices, ethernet switches, radios, and fiber optic cable. The signal system upgrades will improve safety for the traveling public by improving the functionality of the traffic signals.

Work Schedule:

Starting Feb. 5, traffic impacts will include:

• Daytime work hours range from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Traffic Impacts:

Motorists can expect the following impacts during the period of construction:

• Single lane closures will be in effect in all directions throughout the duration of the project.
• Signal outages may occur on US 285 from Inca Street to Gilpin Street.
• Plan ahead and expect delays.
