US 40 Steamboat Main Street Rehabilitation Project

About the Project:

The rehabilitation improvement project will happen over three months on US 40 in Steamboat Springs, Mile Point (MP) 130.5 to 133.5. The project will improve and prolong the life and durability of the roadway. ADA sidewalk accessibility will be improved. Work will primarily include concrete pavement panel replacement, ADA pedestrian ramps, and sidewalk improvements. Work will be done in both the eastbound and westbound directions on US 40, from 3rd Street to 13th Street.

Work Schedule:

  • Work will last approximately three months
  • Working hours are 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday
  • Some nighttime work is expected from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Monday through Friday

Traffic Impacts:

Motorists can expect the following impacts during the period of construction:

  • There will be single-lane traffic, eastbound and westbound, which will remain open at all times
