Job opening at the HSO - Community Traffic Safety Grant Manager

About this Position
This position serves as the community traffic safety lead grant and project manager within the HSO. This includes management of high level, mission critical highway safety grant projects, including community level grant funded projects that require community engagement and inclusion for success. This position is responsible for working with multiple existing community-based partners and identifying new community groups and partners to collaboratively identify prevention strategies within those communities to address their unique traffic safety challenges.
Major duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Developing and administering community traffic safety inclusion and engagement programs, including engagement training, consultation and coaching.
- Providing on-going training and technical assistance to grant projects as needed and/or requested.
- Higher level community based grant, coalition and task force management.
- Serves as the highway safety office liaison, working with local, state and federal agencies.
- Other job duties as assigned.
