The Colorado State Patrol concluded a sobriety checkpoint in Douglas County at E470 — Toll Plaza A on June 20 to 21 from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Participating agencies:

  • Colorado State Patrol
  • Douglas County Sheriff's Office

The results are as follows:

  • Total contacts made: 983
  • Total DUI/D Arrests: 6
  • Total Roadsides: 17

In addition, one of the impaired drivers was a wrong-way driver who was caught by the Colorado State Patrol while in the area of the checkpoint.
