Heightened DUI enforcement removes dangerous drivers

CDOT recently partnered with Colorado State Patrol and local law enforcement agencies for the Summer Blitz and Fourth of July DUI enforcement periods. Sixty-eight agencies arrested 177 impaired drivers during the Summer Blitz from June 11-21, and 19 agencies arrested 53 impaired drivers during the Fourth of July enforcement period from July 2-5.

The Summer Strikeout enforcement is July 16-19.
