DUI enforcements in full swing: CDOT and partners give away $2,000 in ride credits for the big game

To help curb impaired driving during the biggest football game of the year, CDOT offered $2,000 in Lyft ride credits from Feb. 8-14 to coincide with Super Bowl weekend. The promotion was part of an extended partnership with Lyft and Responsibility.org, funded by a grant CDOT received from the Governors Highway Safety Association (GHSA).

CDOT and partners will roll out another round of safe ride credits during the St. Patrick’s Day holiday weekend to continue providing alternatives to impaired driving for Coloradans statewide.

The recent Winter Blitz enforcement period saw 370 arrests across 73 participating agencies, concluding the first DUI enforcement of 2023. The Presidents Day Weekend enforcement period is up next from Feb. 17-28. For more information on enforcement periods and arrest data, click here.
