Safety Analysis 

The efficient and responsible investment of resources in addressing safety problems is a difficult task. When making decisions effecting road safety, it is critical to understand that the expenditure of limited available funding will have the biggest impact in places where more accidents could be prevented.

Highway Safety
Improvement Program 

The Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP) is a federal aid program that funds safety improvement projects that can achieve a significant reduction in traffic fatalities and serious injuries on all public roads.

Mitigation Program 

On March 2, 2009, Colorado Gov. Bill Ritter signed SB09-108 into law. The Funding Advancement for Surface Transportation and Economic Recovery (FASTER) provides funds to address safety issues on Colorado roadways. The FASTER Safety Mitigation program address safety issues on state maintained highways.

Safety Circuit Rider

Local agencies own and operate more than 75 percent of all public roadways and nearly 80 percent of rural roads. The primary goal of the Safety Circuit Rider program is to make significant progress in reducing the number of crashes and fatalities on local roadways.
