Audit Reports
The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) Audit Division is an independent, internal audit function authorized pursuant to Colorado Revised Statutes Section 43-1-106(12) to perform audits and furnish other information or assistance to help ensure the financial integrity, and efficient and effective operations of CDOT. Audit reports directly to an Audit Review Committee (ARC) that provides independent oversight, thereby ensuring the division is free from internal and external influences in order to provide objective and independent assessments. Audit is responsible for examining and evaluating CDOT’s various operations in order to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
