Design-Bid-Build Construction Project Advertisements

*Six new projects advertised on January 26, 2023

CDOT posts new advertisements on a bi-weekly schedule. Our next advertisement date is February 9, 2023. A schedule of future planned advertisement dates is available by clicking on this link - Bid Advertisement Calendar.

Electronic plans and specifications are available to contractors at B2G. Please be sure to do an account lookup if you are new to the system as many vendors have been entered by CDOT into the system. This will allow you to reset the password if the proper contacts were entered. Upon registration, you can find the plans and specifications or the plan holders list for each project under the "View" menu by selecting "My Bid Solicitations". 

Prime contractors are directed to our Rules Governing Construction Bidding for CDOT Projects which details the requirements of Prequalification in Section 2. 

All Design-Bid-Build proposals are processed electronically via Bid Express. Primes must obtain a Digital ID for an agent identified in your prequalification registration.

This project is located in Region 3 in Pitkin County. Project work consists of rockfall mitigation at four sites on SH133. Rockfall mitigation will include rock scaling and stabilization, rock and unclassified excavation, rockfall wire mesh installation, and a debris flow barrier. This project is located in Region 5 in Archuleta, La Plata, Mineral, Montezuma, and Rio Grande Counties. Project work consists of replacing three existing culvert structures and repair six culvert inverts along US 160 from MM 49.48 to 184.65. A mandatory virtual pre-bid conference will be held on February 9, 2023, at 3PM via Google Meet. Bids will be accepted only from pre-qualified bidders who attend the mandatory virtual pre-bid conference. *NHPP 0701-256 (25120)

This project is located in Region 3 in Mesa County. Project work consists of traffic safety improvements for lengthening the existing westbound left turn lane on I 70B, installing three pedestrian push buttons on three of the four corner ramps, installing a signal pedestrian pole, removal of the existing pedestrian head and signal cameras, and installing new detection system cameras.
