CDOT completes US 6 and Post Boulevard roundabout project
News Release
Eagle County — The Colorado Department of Transportation and contractor KSK, LLC have completed a highway safety project at US 6 and Post Boulevard in Avon. This project was a joint venture between CDOT, the Town of Avon, Eagle Vail Metro District, Eagle County and the Federal Highway Administration.
The safety project reconstructed the roundabout that connects US 6 and Post Boulevard. The project also installed a new concrete road surface, as well as improvements to the approaches, drainage, signage and striping in the area. These enhancements addressed pedestrian and motor vehicle safety, increased efficiency, and enhanced mobility for all users at this busy intersection that connects to US 6.
