CDOT to host open house listening session for Divide corridor on Nov. 9
News Release
Teller County — The Colorado Department of Transportation invites residents, business owners and community members to participate in an upcoming public listening session focused on the future of the US Highway 24 and Colorado Highway 67 corridors in the Divide area.
The listening session is an opportunity for the community to help shape the vision for the corridor by sharing local perspectives, identifying concerns and discussing priorities for its future. Community input will help inform project planning as the team works to understand the needs and expectations of the people who live, work and travel in the area.
“We want to hear from the people who know this corridor best,” said Jason Nelson, CDOT Traffic Program Engineer. “This is an opportunity for the community to share what matters most to them and help inform how we plan for the corridor’s future.”
Crash data and traffic counts will be available to help inform the discussion. The meeting will focus on listening to community members and gathering input, proposed design alternatives will not be presented at this stage of the project.
