Problem Statement
A Problem Statement is a concise description of a problem or innovative idea that can be addressed through research. It must include the potential benefits of performing the research and implementation methods for the results. This form is used to submit research Problem Statements to CDOT Research Branch, for funding consideration. Please fill out the form and submit via email to the appropriate CDOT Research Manager. For more details on the Problem Statement evaluation process, please contact the Research Branch staff. For FY 19 consideration, problem statements are due October 27, 2017.

The Colorado State Transportation Innovation Council (STIC) Incentive Program
The mission of the Colorado State Transportation Innovation Council (STIC) is to facilitate the rapid implementation of technology, processes, procedures and techniques among transportation professionals to ensure smart and efficient investment in Colorado's transportation infrastructure. The Incentive Program provides resources to help STICs foster a culture for innovation and to make innovations standard practice. Through the program, funding up to $100,000 per Federal fiscal year is made available to Colorado to support or offset the costs of standardizing innovative practices.
