Problem Statement

A Problem Statement is a concise description of a problem or innovative idea that can be addressed through research. It must include the potential benefits of performing the research and implementation methods for the results. This form is used to submit research Problem Statements to CDOT Research Branch, for funding consideration. Please fill out the form and submit via email to the appropriate CDOT Research Manager. For more details on the Problem Statement evaluation process, please contact the Research Branch staff. For FY 20 consideration, problem statements will be due Friday, November 16, 2018.
