On Monday, March 6, 2017, crews began this highway-improvement project on US Highway (US) 160/US 550 through Durango. The work was completed on June 16, 2017.
Crews rehabilitated the concrete on US 160 and 550 through town and north Durango. The project team also constructed wheelchair accessible ramps at several key intersections, in partnership with the City of Durango.
Ramp Construction Locations:
- 21st Street: All four corners
- 26th Street: Northwest corner only
- 29th Street: Southwest, southeast and northeast corners only
- 30th Street: Northwest, southwest and southeast corners only
- 31st Street: All four corners
