From April through October 2019, travelers on a small stretch of Lincoln Street (aka, Colorado Highway 96) in Pueblo—from W. Orman to W. Abriendo avenues—can expect shoulder and lane closures, and traffic delays as crews improve traffic signals and drainage.

Work includes:

  • replacing three signals at Abriendo, Evans and Orman avenues;
  • replacing curb ramps to comply with Americans With Disabilities Act standards;
  • modifying the median at Abriendo Avenue to accommodate a southbound double-left-turn lane; and
  • replacing the drainage system at Abriendo Avenue.

Schedule & Travel Impacts

  • Daytime work: 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., Monday - Friday
  • Overnight work: 9 p.m. - 7 a.m., Sunday - Thursday
  • Expect partial closures in the work zone during these hours.
  • During certain project phases, expect 24-hour lane closures.
