CO 115 Penrose Concrete Preventive Maintenance
About the Project
The project will consist of the replacement of full and partial concrete pavement roadway panels. This maintenance project also involves comprehensive concrete repairs including:
- Fixing localized surface damage
- Crack sealing
- Placing steel bars to keep concrete from moving
- Diamond grinding to create a smoother surface
Crews will also conduct the following work:
- Striping
- Guardrail replacement

Traffic Impacts
- For the first part of the project, traffic will be directed into the southbound lane
- There will be a single lane head-to-head traffic configuration
- Traffic will then experience single lane closures within the project limits
- Speeds will be reduced through the work zones
