About the Project

This project involves replacing a culvert on CO 318 in Moffat County, near the Browns Park National Wildlife Refuge in far Northwestern Colorado. Located at Mile Point 1.25, just east of the Utah border.

The work will include:

  • Removing the existing corrugated metal pipe culvert
  • Installing a new concrete box culvert

Work Schedule

  • Work is scheduled to begin May 4, 2026 and must be completed no later than Oct. 9, 2026
  • Working hours will be Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Traffic Impacts

  • Motorists can expect alternating traffic with short delays
  • Traffic signals will be used while work is in progress
  • The speed limit will be reduced through the work zones
  • No wide loads, an 11-foot width restriction will be in place
