CO 52 Resurfacing North of Fort Morgan

About the Project

The Colorado Department of Transportation and its contracting partner, McAtee Construction, Inc., will resurface approximately 6 miles of Colorado Highway 52 north of Fort Morgan, between mile points 87 and 93.

The project will improve the roadway surface and provide a safer, smoother roadway for motorists. Crews will remove the top layer of worn pavement and place approximately three inches of new hot mix asphalt.

Additional improvements include:

  • Installing centerline rumble strips
  • New thermoplastic pavement markings
  • Replacing roadway signs along the corridor

Construction is anticipated to begin Sept. 8 and be completed in late October.
