CO 52 Signal Improvements at Weld County Road 41
About the Project
Starting March 4, 2026, CDOT and contractor Sturgeon Electric will begin a signal installation project along Colorado Highway 52 at Weld County Road 41 between Hudson and Fort Lupton. The anticipated completion date is mid-April 2026.
This project will install new traffic signals at the intersection of CO 52 and WCR 41 to improve safety and traffic flow for motorists. The work includes traffic lights, stop lines, signage and other signal-related devices. The CO 52 corridor in Weld and Morgan counties has become a key east–west route in the Northern Front Range, supporting growing traffic volumes and regional connectivity.
