About the Project

The project is expected to be completed by late June 2026. The work will include a chip seal, which is a two-step process that includes first an application of asphalt emulsion and then a layer of crushed rock to an existing asphalt pavement surface.

Project Benefits

  • Chip sealing is a cost-effective, relatively inexpensive method of pavement maintenance and preservation of the roadway, performed between the more expensive (costly) alternatives of asphalt overlays.
  • Chip seals can significantly extend the life of existing pavement, delaying the need for more costly repairs or replacements.
