Project Benefits

  • Chip sealing is a cost-effective, relatively inexpensive method of pavement maintenance and preservation of the roadway, performed between the more expensive (costly) alternatives of asphalt overlays.
  • Chip Seals can significantly extend the life of existing pavement, delaying the need for more costly repairs or replacements.
