CO 63 Resurfacing North & South of Akron
Project Complete
About the Project
All project work on CO 63 has now concluded.
Throughout the project, the Colorado Department of Transportation and contractor Simon have improved approximately nine miles of CO 63 between Mile Points 25 and 34. The $\$7.9$ million project included resurfacing, guardrail replacement, shoulder grading and erosion control measures. These improvements have created a smoother, safer and more durable roadway that will better serve travelers and extend the life of this important corridor.
CDOT and Simon thank the Town of Akron, area travelers and our email subscribers for their patience, cooperation and interest throughout the project.
