Crews will replace approximately 44 signs on the following locations:

  • I-70: From Genesee near South Rooney Street (Mile Point 259.5) to Byers near US Highway 36/Main Street (MP 316)
  • I-76: In Thornton at 96th Avenue (MP 11.65)

Project Benefits

The new signs will increase lane awareness and have better reflectivity at night to help motorist navigate the highway safely.


Work Schedule

  • Nighttime work hours are Sunday through Thursday from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Motorists can expect the following impacts during the period of construction:

  • Shoulder closures
  • Single lane closures
