Statewide Weigh-In-Motion Scales Replacement
About the Project
This project consists of removing existing weigh pads and steel foundation frames and replacing weigh-in-motion strip scales and associated equipment at seven locations throughout Colorado. This project will also remove one weigh-in-motion scale station in Platteville.

Project Benefits
This project will provide much needed upgrades to multiple scale locations across the state.
Work Schedule
Beginning, Sunday May 10, 2026, working hours are from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday.
Work will take place in consecutive order (crews will be at each location approximately 2 weeks) at the following locations:
- I-25 near Monument at MP 160.2
- I-25 near Trinidad at MP 10.5
- I-70 near Dumont at Mile Point 233
- I-70 near Limon at MP 361.7
- I-70 near Loma at MP 13.6
- I-76 near Fort Morgan at MP 75.5
- US 50 near Lamar at MP 433.7
- US 85 near Platteville at MP 250.1
Traffic Impacts
- Various lane closures will take place within the work zone while crews are at each location
