This project aims to enhance safety and optimize traffic flow across four intersections on US 287.

- Installing new signal heads at two of the four intersections to accommodate the new lanes

Work Schedule
- Work is set to begin Sept. 1, with anticipated completion by December 2026.
- Working hours will be split between daytime (7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday to Friday) and overnight shifts (7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Sunday to Thursday)
- Actual working hours may vary. Some weekend work is also expected
Traffic Impacts
Motorists can expect the following traffic impacts during construction:
- US 287 Northbound (CO 121 to Dillon Road): Single lane closures from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. weekdays and 7 p.m. to 10 a.m. weekends
- US 287 Southbound (Dillon Road to CO 121): Single lane closures from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. weekdays, and 7 p.m. to 10 a.m. on weekends
- US 287 Eastbound (West 120th Avenue & Sheridan Boulevard): Single lane closures from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. weekdays, and anytime on weekends
- CO 121 Northbound: Single lane closures from 9 a.m. to noon and 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. on weekdays, and from 8 p.m. to 10 a.m. on weekends
- CO 121 Southbound: Single lane closures from 10 a.m. to noon and 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. weekdays, and from 8 p.m. to 10 a.m. on weekend
- Full access to roadways, area businesses, sidewalks and driveways will be maintained
