US 287 Intersection Improvements in Fort Collins
About the Project
This CDOT project is a roadway safety improvements project located north of Fort Collins on US 287 at two locations, Red Mountain Road and Bonner Springs Ranch Road. These locations span on US 287 from MP 362 to 375.
Improvements include:
- Widening of the road in order to add additional width and turn lanes
- Striping operations will be included as part of the road widening and safety improvements
- New guardrail, signage and drainage

Work Schedule
- Crews will be working weekdays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- No work will be performed on July 3 in observance of Independence Day
- Construction schedules are weather-dependent and subject to change
Traffic Impacts
- Flagging operations with single-lane alternating traffic, Monday, June 29, and Tuesday, June 30, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Expect delays and plan ahead
- Expect reduced speeds in work zone
- Shoulder closures
- Motorists are urged to slow down and drive with caution through the work zone
